Inside Sales/Counter Sales – fulltime position Location: San Francisco, CA

Inside Sales Responsiblities:

  • Greet and assist customers
  • Assist in maintaining the counter, merchandising and product display area
  • Assemble and stock product displays and shelves and prepare customer refreshments
  • Bilingual: English/Spanish
  • Promoting and generating sales of building products in an inside sales environment.
  • Experience in the building supply & construction industry a plus
  • Ability to build and retain strong client relationships
  • Promote and generate sales of building products in an inside sales environment
  • Process multiple orders while continuing to provide excellent customer service
  • Coordinate delivery and/or pick up of customer orders, vendors & rental pickups with operations manager
  • Provide support to Outside Sales force (key part of the job)
  • Generate price quotations in a timely manner
  • Accurate cycle counting of inventory
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date “open order” files in computer system, and open purchase orders


  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • A general knowledge of the construction industry
  • Strong customer service skills
  • General knowledge of PC skills, able to work with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel & email
  • Good verbal communication and follow-up skills
  • Team oriented and self motivated
  • Clean driving record
  • Clean pre-employment drug screen, background check


Outside Sales – fulltime position Location: San Francisco Bay Area, CA

Outside Sales Duties:

  • Perform job site / office / yard sales including cold calls
  • Emphasis on customer service & relationship building
  • Generate new customers while servicing current customers
  • Recommend products to end users, estimators & engineers including newly added inventory
  • Complete transactions in a professional manner
  • Continually develop sales abilities and product knowledge, brands and prices
  • Review monthly open order/purchase order reports
  • Take advice and direction from Sales Manager


  • Clean driving record

  • Previous knowledge and experience of construction products preferred
  • Strong listening, oral and written communication skills
  • Computer skills; Word, Excel, Email
  • Strong sense of urgency in every aspect of the job duties
